Cari is a consummate student of traditional Japanese Tenkara Fishing. Studying the styles of Tenkara masters like Masami Sakakibara and Hiromichi Fuji. She has also developed a “fixed-line” fly fishing technique that is a hybrid between traditional tenkara fishing and western-style fly fishing. This is an especially effective technique for beginners, kids, and those with physical limitations. It’s also a killer technique for small, clear waters with spooky fish!
